My main contribution was to track down a public domain
photo of penguins running along the ice edge in McMurdo sound.
This became the cover for our CD giveaways
at LinuxWorld that year (click to enlarge):

I also experimented with trying to invent a new BALUG logo.
Embarrassingly enough, I lost most of this work
but one my experiments survives (click to enlarge):

There's also this "Nightmare" version, which has some Halloween
potential: 
...perhaps with the addition of a ghost sporting a wavy tilde and a little daemon wearing a rainbow mask. |
