photo of penguins running along the ice edge in McMurdo sound.

I also experimented with trying to invent a new BALUG logo. Embarrassingly enough, I lost most of this work but one my experiments survives |
There's also this "Nightmare" version, which has some Halloween
potential: ...perhaps with the addition of a ghost sporting a wavy tilde and a little daemon wearing a rainbow mask. |
There are some excellent public domain photos of Antarctica out there, courtesy of the NSF (which requests but does not demand attribution); In my opinion, cartoons of puffy penguins are really dorky, but actual penguins are kind of cool... Here are links to some of my source images: |
