MOTIVATION

I wanted an interactive, global
find and replace tool using perl
as a back-end to make changes, and
emacs as a front-end to examine
the changes.

I call my implementation Rep, or on CPAN, Emacs::Rep:

  

The hard stuff was all on the emacs side,
but fun stuff was on the perl side...
