  I have no idea what I was getting at.

  Possibly:

  The dark figure of the Shadow
  stalking between the boundaries
  of media.

    Pulp/Radio/Comics/Movies...

        I know of.  Interesting.       effects were
                                       too expensive

          in "The Lost Shows"
          notes mentions               But still...
          two pilots, one              There was the
          in 1955 and the              50s "Topper".
          other in 1958.

             The Shadow does 
             not survive 
             in a visual world.
