use to get around this block though:
embrace the double-negative. SCREWTAPE
"You don't have to be unhappy" is a more
effective mantra than "You can be happy."
"You are a fundamentally good person"
sounds stupid, but "Hey, you're no
more fucked up than anyone else" has
the ring of truth about it.
