   generalizing is not huge.                         A summary is often
                                                     a generalization
      In writing a wikipedia article,                about generalizations.
      there may very well be places
      where you need to explain the basics,             A generalization
      which can mean a need to say something            about observations
      so stone-cold obvious that no one                 might qualify as
      else has bothered.                                a new insight.

         It is not *always* so easy to
         distinguish between stating
         common knowledge and making a
         new observation, (though
         perhaps typically on a
         relatively trivial point).
