HEAD_WOUND

                                              December 19, 2013

My familiarity with the JFK Assassination literature
is not immense, but I'm persuaded by the video WEAK_HEADS
"The Case for Conspiracy" that the Warren Commission
autopsy photos were fakes-- the long, slightly dull
series of interviews conducted with the first line
medical staff who actually saw Kennedy after the
shooting convince me that there was indeed an exit
wound in the upper left side of the head, and hence
a shot from the front, and to the right, in the
direction of the grassy knoll picket fence.

Given this one point, a number of other things resolve--

There are myriad voices out there pushing
in different directions, but this one
point of certainty is a firm enough place
to stand to draw some immediate conclusions,
and to shrug off the importance of whole
swaithes of controversy.

Do the films really show JFK thrown
backwards by a shot from in front?

There's someone willing to argue that there's
a rocket effect where a gunshot from the rear
can superheat the interior of the head: a jet
out the entrance wound can push the head back
toward the bullet's impact. That sounds
   implausible, but thankfully I've little
experience with such things, and coming up
with a good answer to this question could be
difficult-- but I don't have to:

The first responding medical team have
told me there's a rear exit wound.

Is it at all possible for Oswald to get off
three shots in 6 seconds (including time
to aim successfully) with his bolt action
rifle? That doesn't seem terribly likely,
but again, it would be hard for me to
say-- but I don't need to:

The first responding medical team have
made it clear it wasn't just Oswald.

       Was there a cover-up? Certainly--
it wasn't even a very good job.
In fact, doesn't it have a clumsy,
       improvised air to it? Perhaps
something went wrong along the way ASSASSINATION_DON
and they needed a plan B?

And who would've had the access
necessary to do this? It's difficult
to buy that it wasn't a faction
       well-connected to the government.

If you mention the testimony of the
           medics at Parkland, someone on-line
           will explain they were *obviously*
confused, because the evidence in the
           Warren report contradicts them.

Right. Multiple doctors were so busy
trying to save JFK they neglected to
look closely at the gaping wounds in
           his head.
