In Japan, people from
Korean are regarded as         (To our minds, this no doubt
inferior.                      seems an odd prejudice, but
                               then they all are).

It's one of the more useful                  MULTIETHNIC_JAPANESE_KOREAN
anti-racist arguments to know:

  Korean kids in Japan
  show lower test scores than
  Korean kids in Korean.
  Being a member of a reviled
  racial minority apparently                (In the movie "Linda,
  messes with your head--                   Linda, Linda", some
  who would've thought, eh?                 Japenese girls choose a
                                            Korean exchange student
                                            as the vocalist for their
                                            high school rock band.
                                            She begins crying, at the
                                            thought, evidently with
                  (Nov 2018)                tears of joy...)
      (A comment at crookedtimber    
      by a "b9n10nt" suggests the    
      book "Inequality By Design"   
      might be a source for this
