94.1 FM. The Pacifica station
located in Berkeley.

As much as I'm a fan of KZSU's
music programming these days, KPFA
does have a number of impressive
things. (Carl Stone is taking
					  	 a morning slot for
Carl Stone does a neat new music a few years. We can only
show on Sunday nights, followed by hope for the best for Sunday
Dean Suzuki, who does a good "ambient" nights. -- 2/2/01)
show that he calls "Discrete Music".

Some Thursday nights (I haven't
figured out the pattern), some guys
from Negativland do a neat show
(one night they were having people
experiment with waving an AM receiver
around some electronic devices,
calling in to broadcast their results
over the air).

Stephen Kent (of Trance Mission)
does some sort of World music show
there in the morning, but I only
rarely manage to catch that.

Unlike the teenage edition of myself,
I pay no attention at all to the talk radio Well... once in a
that they do. great while I
                                                      listen to
                                                      "Democracy Now" in
                                                      the morning.
