PUSH_THROUGH

                                             April 08, 2007

Push through revulsion,
Push through rejection.
                                               STAGGERING
                                               LOW_FLAME
No cliche that can't be rescued,

No stale trope that can't be repurposed.

    Verily, there may even be
    a use for mayonnaise.

Jack Kirby named some of his
          villains using intentionally
          cutsey, childish,
          "comic-bookish" names:

             "Granny Goodness"
             "Glorious Godfrey"

          He succeeded in capturing
          something about the nature
          of evil --

          The truly villainous don't
          come packaged in fright
          masks: they wrap themselves
          in bible and flag.
