Is it worth trying to take
the idea of faux-evil seriously?

It's easy enough to dismiss
angry teenage angst with an
eyeroll.

Maybe too easy?


     A common dodge of the old
     is to dimiss the emotions of
     the young as mere hormonal
     glitches.

        But the attitudes of the old
        may also have their own
        physical bases, and it's
        hard to see why one set of
        hormones is to be preferred       (Ala the scene in
