The whole idea of "terrorist
attack", is to provoke a
response that turns others
against the dominant power


  They're out to                 You'd think that would
  radicalize, to                 be a tricky business --
  generate recruits.             e.g. with the 9/11 attack
                                 suddenly the entire world
                                 was in sympathy with the US.

                                     Fortunately for the
                                     terrorists, we played
                                     along, and pissed that
                                     away as quickly as
                                     possible.
