"We" is an interesting, loaded
word, full of big implications
for such a short word.


   The patriotic "we"
   is one of the                             Another odd
   strangest...                              one is the
                                             "ESR we"...

                                             A close relative of
                                             the royal "we" and the
                                             editorial "we", as
                                             well as the "man with
                                             tape-worms".


   Bill Weinberg of WBAI
   never tires of correcting    WEINBERG
   callers who fall into
   the habit of calling the
   United States "we".

      "Are *you* a member
      of the government?             One answer:
      I'm not."
                                       "Of course I am.
                                        I vote all the time."

                                          That no doubt seems like
                                          a naive answer, but maybe
                                          any other is an immoral
                                          answer.
