WINGS_OF_DANGER

Jennie Kermode informs me that the
wings-at-the-nightclub look was a                   FASHION_REPORTER
fad in the United States, before
being adopted in the UK... she            (So Dangerbaby was ahead of the
regarded them as a bit of a               curve again... she'd been
menace, wearing large, oversize           sporting her bat wings off and
wings in a crowded space.                 on for several years now.)

                                                        DANGERBABY


     This reminded me of a guy at the DNA lounge party a
     few years ago doing some sort of bug-like alien
     concept: he had a garden rake rising up over his
     head. He would go around partly crouched over,
     suddenly swinging from one side or the other, as the
     tines of the rake would just barely clear your face.
