Tim Perkis and Chris Brown are both experienced practicitioners of avant-garde computerized/electronic sound (in particular they were both involved with the seminal networked improvisation group The Hub).
Tim Perkis is also a member of the band Rotodoti (and it's off-shoot, Rotokadoti), which has long been a favorite of mine. He's recently put out a solo CD on the excellent Limited Seditions micro-label, and a duo CD with Lelio Gianetto, called Diatoms on the Italian label Curva Minore.
Chris Brown in addition to his work with the Hub, He has worked on many pieces for the group ROOM, with William Winant, Larry Ochs and Scot Gresham-Lancaster. He has also put out a number of notable solo releases (such as Snakecharmer).
