The song "Accentuate the Positive", incidentally, was nominated for the Academy Award for music in 1945 (it lost to the Rodgers & Hammerstein tune "Might as Well Be Spring", from the movie State Fair). "Accentuate the Positive" had lyrics by Johnny Mercer, and music by Harold Arlen, and was sung by Bing Crosby in the 1944 movie Here Come the Waves;.
