Nobody had a great suggestion regarding my search for a good company
offering cheap PC components in the east bay. But, I found the answer.

I discovered a little company by the Oakland Airport called Q-Digital. They
don't even have a storefront, but said they could get whatever I wanted
within 24-hours. They did that, and delivered it for free to boot. I built
four PCs for a total cost of $1,400. Besides great prices they have the best
service that I have ever gotten buying PC parts -- just awesome! And no, I
don't have any relationship to the company.

Their URL is http://www.qdtec.com/. They are based in Oakland and I think
Fremont, too. If you need a quote I highly recommend you send them an email.
They have more available than what's on the Web site.

By the way, they were able to get me AOPEN H300A book-size PC cases. About
the size of a VCR, these are really cool. I built a couple PCs with the
small cases and the other two as the usual mid-towers.

Cheers,

Robin
