I think that Mozilla vs. MSIE on any non-Windows platform would be an
interesting comparison. I run Mozilla's CVS version embed widget via
the GTK frontend SkipStone (which is far lighter than the Mozilla UI
crap) and I see no compelling reason to ever use Navigator again.
Finally, Mozilla feels smoother than Netscape Navigator 4. M18 wil be
a milestone to aplaud at. Remember, this project seemed like it was
failing quite recently.

Getting back on the point, an optimistic hope is that now that Mozilla
is almost stable and works very well, contributers will start getting
serrious. I really am not suprized that not many outsiders contributed
back when Mozilla just didn't work. Especially when it becomes
dual-licensed, I think at least the GtkMozEmbed widget has the
pontential to become a "killer app". THAT is what would be interesting
to compare to MSIE away from Windows.
