I think that Mozilla vs. MSIE on any non-Windows platform would be an interesting comparison. I run Mozilla's CVS version embed widget via the GTK frontend SkipStone (which is far lighter than the Mozilla UI crap) and I see no compelling reason to ever use Navigator again. Finally, Mozilla feels smoother than Netscape Navigator 4. M18 wil be a milestone to aplaud at. Remember, this project seemed like it was failing quite recently. Getting back on the point, an optimistic hope is that now that Mozilla is almost stable and works very well, contributers will start getting serrious. I really am not suprized that not many outsiders contributed back when Mozilla just didn't work. Especially when it becomes dual-licensed, I think at least the GtkMozEmbed widget has the pontential to become a "killer app". THAT is what would be interesting to compare to MSIE away from Windows. ===
