Well, I've just compiled and sort-of tested Tripwire 2.3 on a Debian 2.2
x86 box.  The only glitch is that you'll want to create /usr/bin/gmake
as a symlink to /usr/bin/make, as the Makefile expects to find it.

This tripwire release does _not_ do autoconf.  Ouch.  So, porters of the
C++ codebase will have a slightly greater task than they might otherwise
anticipate.

Tripwire's _still_ a pain in the ass to configure.  That much hasn't
changed.
