	I highly recomend you check out the masquerade dialer.  The deamon
sits on your linux box controling your pppd (or anything else really) and
the clients sit on your remote machines.  There are variety on clients
available for most platforms.  It'll support stuff like PAM and access
lists and will bind itself to particular interfaces to give you all the
cool control you need if it's going to be on your firewall.  You can check
