I've done it with both two, disseparate video cards + Xinerama as well
as with an unified frame buffer card like the nVidia GeForce2 MX +
nVidia's proprietary drivers.

I believe you need Matrox's driver, just like nVidia's, for dual-head as
that card is an unified frame buffer card.

I've got it working now.  The /usr/X11/lib/modules/fonts directory was
not installed.  I also went to matrox and downloaded their drivers and
Powerdesk program for configuring Xfree86.

This is awesome, it's a wall of monitors!

OK, so it's only two, but this gives me 3200x1200 resolution!
