Arni, I had this problem with my SiS video card and that was solved by adding the following to the "Device" section of the /etc/X11/XF86config file. Option "no_bitblt" There was a much fuller answer from Matt at Red Hat a week or two back and so it might be worth looking at the archives at www.moongroup.com and searching for SiS or XF86config. ===
