Over the years I've taken a lot
of shit from people about never
having traveled outside the
United States.
My god, how narrowminded,
ignorant and lazy, eh?
Don't I understand the broadening,

What point would there be to travel
to another place if I wasn't planning
on really being a part of that place?
Is the idea just to
to go there and gawk?

look at some pictures, and
read about the place.
Left to my own devices,
my travels have tended to
be explorations of different
places in the United States, Boston
places that I might consider Chicago
actually living. San Francisco

myself as an expatriate-- looking
at the game from the outside.
