I saw Delany give a talk at the Urban Center
in New York, about the material in his book
_Times Square Red, Times Square Blue_.
He has a theory these days about
social interaction: we place too
much faith in "networking", and BONDED_TIGHTLY
ignore the value of random,
serendipitous "contact".
So:
Don't be so scared of strangers
And don't expect so much from friends.
