About "Cafe Gratitude"
in San Francisco.

This is a place dedicated
to the "raw food" idea.       Part of the idea:
It's not just vegetarian      cooking induces
food, it's *uncooked*         chemcial changes
vegetarian food.              in food.

                              Presumption: we
                              did not evolve
                              eating cooked food.


  Myself, I suspect that
  this is a perfectly
  insane philosophy...

  But nevertheless, the
  restaurant serves
  excellent, interesting      (Largely based on nut fats
  food.                       and proteins ground and
                              whipped in different ways.)

       Working under a set
       of rules-- perhaps
       any set of rules--
       creates a challenge,      "playing tennis
       and encourages people     with the net up",
       to create something
       new.

                                 MANIFESTO
       Their insanity
       pushes them out
       of the normal     (It also produces
       orbit.             a menu filled
                          with some dorky,
         UNINTENDED       new age names.)
