MYSTERIOUS_DOCTOR_SATAN

We sit on the edge of the mattress,
closet door pushed open to reveal   
the concealed television, watching        SATANS_PLACE
a 1940 Republic serial on video tape:        
"The Mysterious Dr. Satan".                              
   
The collection quite rightly shows 
the parts of the serial in their                 
original format: cliff-hangers,               
closing theme, opening theme, and  
then a reprisal of the plot that               
typically cheats and includes some                      
quite different details that make              Dangerbaby comes up with
it possible to escape the                      some classic responses:         
cliff-hanger.  But it gets tedious             "How can he possibly get 
watching the repeated material, and            out of that one??!"

fast-forward through some of it.

                                 I suspect we may be    
                                 about as nauseating    
                                 to outsiders as a       
                                 couple in a later       
                                 Heinlein novel, but    
                                 so it goes...
