I envision clouds of abstractions rising
into the air, supporting each other
without (obvious?) external reference.
                       
                       

                       
Consider geodesic structures.

No single support.  

A network of nodes, touching
ground in many places.
                       
In comparison, a hierarchical
structure is like an inverted
pyramid resting on it's nose.            
                                         No wonder the damn things 
                                         get ground into powder so 
                                         often. 




    The adverserial structure of the American government.     
    A division of labor between opposing forces.
