LINES

Wed Apr 26 14:33:36 2000

Yea gods, have I actually never written anything
yet here on the subject of pickup lines? Weird.

Anyway, here is the benefit of my extensive research
on the literature on this subject: _How To Pick Up Girls_
                                                         by Eric Weber, and
  (1) The best "lines" are spontaneous it's sequel.
      and are related to what's
going on in the immediate situation. One of my
                                                              favorite pieces
  (2) But if you draw a complete blank on something of advice, is
to say, you will need to fall back on a the suggested
canned, memorized line. line "Hey, do
                                                              you want a
  (3) A good line does not sound like you're Qualude?"
trying to be clever, it doesn't even
have to be creative. It's possible
                                                                 that these
The two most popular lines are supposed works are
      to be: somewhat
"Can I buy you a drink?" dated.
             "Do you want to dance?"

The fact that they're well known
and familiar is what's good about them.

      There's a great lack of
      accepted courtship rituals
      in American culture, and
you might as well use what
      little exists.

((Maybe more stuff: Flirting in an
environment where it is not
*possible* to talk?))
