POWER_OF_NAMING

  Let's say that I come up 
  with a really good name 
  for The Scene.


  How could I put it over?

  Who would listen to me?

  Would I need to become 
  an Influential Music Journalist
  first?


      Consider the "Open Source" 
      name change.  For better or 
      worse, this was achieved by 
      committee.  

              You could call a meeting, 
              A convention.  Going in 
              get everyone to agree to
              begin using whatever is 
              choosen.  Then choose 
              something.

   

A possible problem:
maybe the trouble is the 
the idea that there's one scene.
