SABOTAGE

Once upon a time I knew a young
struggling animator, who had scored
a gig with the the Pentacostal
Church to produce some religious
programming.

He looked at it as his
opportunity to get back at
the Church for screwing him
over/up.

His goal was to make sure that all
of the other characters were so
syrypy sweet that the kids could
only identify with "Judas".


     Since then, I learned to
     look at commissioned art
     with a new eye.
                                                     Near the gate of
     If it often seems so incredibly inept           the Idaho National
     that it undercuts it's stated goal...           Engineering Lab,
                                                     a large billboard
        It might not exactly be                      promotes the message
        unintentional.                               "Security Keeps
                                                     America Safe!"
