  Assignment: go through the many and
  various fiction reviews and critical
  assessments I've written, and try to
  categorize them.

  Roughly, I'm interested in the question:

  Do they work as foundations
  of ways of living?

  Or possibly: what kind of way
  of living do they suggest?

     There are common themes/
     tropes that I identify
     frequently.

        The excuses for evil.

        The contrived evasion of
        restrictions.


   There are very few examples that are intended to
   point the way -- or a way -- and actually succeed.      For good or
                                                           for ill.
