*.texi files need to be converted to *.info files with the makeinfo
utility.  Then you can use C-u C-h i to read them.  For more
convenience, add the directory to $INFOPATH or
Info-default-directory-list, and create a file named `dir' in the
directory with an appropriate entry.  The install-info utility can
create dir files.  Or you copy an existing dir file, take care to NOT
delete the funny char ^_, and modify as appropriate.
