   "In the technical language of his generation
   Noel was an 'aesthete'.  His normal conversation
   was much of his contemporaties the youngest
   poets.  He ran a magazine for them and wrote
   editorials sagely discussing André Breton
   and Marianne Moore; it was rumored that he had
   been to a tea party with Mr Ezra Pound."
