YOU_KNOW_TOO_MUCH

My ax:

I personally have been dis-enfranchised by
the conception of the user promulgated by
the computer industry in the last several
decades.

I use computers for

   programming
   writing
   communication
   recreation

And thus I am not a "typical user".
My opinions on how things should work don't
count, *because* I know what I'm doing.

Immensely frustrating.

On a less personal level:

Is it really so certain that I am not a
"typical user" you should be studying?

Over time, the beginners become experienced.

                         Possibility:
  The beginners A UI oriented
  market may seem toward "niave
  huge, but it users" never
  may also be educates, never
  maxed out. produces less
                         naivete.
  You might need
  to focus on a
  niche: people who
  know what they're
  doing.
