KDRAMA_TRACING
A gathering of people (mostly women) who have in
common a desire for revenge on some men (mostly
their husbands), but who also have a sense of
ethics about their revenge. They prefer pranks
to heavy violence and gradually work their way up
to legal attacks.
It's really funny, but more-or-less always makes sense-- none
of the plots and counterplots seem like they're forced.
And this is a story about "revenge" but it doesn't rely much on
physical violence, and while there are a couple of romance
plots in there they don't really dominate the story: this
one is pretty unique.

It's got some cliched aspects-- the chaebol
daughter "arranged marriage", the bastard son
belatedly adopted by rich family, the
manipulative mean high school kid-- but they
take it all seriously enough to get it to work.
A prominent theme: family does matter,
but that need not have much to do with
genetics-- that might seem obvious, but
some people may need to hear it.
This particular show gives some "plain girl" I see Ra Mi-ran won
actresses a chance in the spot-light, including some sort of award
Ra Mi-ran, who more typically gets "woman next for "Best Scene Stealer"
door" roles, but is heavily featured here. in "Reply 1988", which

Similarly, Kim Bo-ra does a nice but is supposed to be
job as a sullen teenager. one of the most popular
shows in Korea ever.
This is a personal favorite that holds up well
on re-viewing -- and I'm not at all sure how I
found this one. I must've just thought the
name looked interesting.
