I rely a lot on the idea that full
disclosure will encourage honesty,           The theme:
and thereby make it easier to
converge on the truth.                       The hired shills,
                                             political flacks
                                             and guerilla marketers
   As usual, I worry that I                  infesting the net
   may have it wrong (as                     need to be wiped out
   usual).  It could be that                 for online cooperative

      And the net will be
      infested by Official
      Representatives, all
      forthrightly, honestly
      presenting their position
      in simple terms anyone
      can understand.

            Many people appear to
            evaluate debates by
            listening like dogs:
            they're entirely
            swayed by the tone
            of the speakers, and
            a calm, reasonable
            sounding spokesman
            will outweigh those
            shrill, ranting
            activists every time.
                                             One example:

                                             Bezos using O'Reilley to
                                             sing the troops to sleep.
