on the net from various sites, e.g. for the

               The reddit group /r/kdrama has a policy of favoring
               "legitimate" sites, but myself I'm not entirely sure
               how they figure that, or how I'm supposed to know.

               I'm afraid there's a presumption in a lot of
               people's heads that legitmate == big, and if it's
               not something like netflix they must be some kind
               of scammers... my own presumption would be that if
               there were something grossly evil with these sites
               they'd have been shut down by now.

               And if the Korean networks were ever tempted to
               sign exclusive deals with the likes of Netflix, I
               expect they're going to learn the same lesson in
               monopsony power that Amazon has taught the book
               publishing industry.


                             Bigger isn't always better.
