aspects rooted in romanticism seem obvious,
and hence it seems obvious that the right                (With the green-gray

embrace a cold, realistic view--

But perhaps a better idea:

Poke your finger in the wound.  We do not
live in a romantic universe-- for our
values to survive in the real world takes
effort-- if individuality, freedom,
intelligence, love. will and desire are to
matter at all, it will be because we've
struggled to maintain a matrix for our
schisms to survive...

Really: Luke understands that the
targeting computers are better than
he is, but he insists on asserting
control-- perhaps he becomes a
programmer, perhaps he redesigns the
computer as a partner rather than
master.  Perhaps he uploads into the
computer, merges with it.

Or: finds another form of combat
where shooting fast and accurately
is not needed.
