Once upon a time I knew a young
struggling animator, who had
scored a gig with the Pentacostal
Church to produce some religious
programming.
He looked at it as his opportunity to
get back at the Church for screwing
him over/up.
His goal was to make sure that the main
characters were so syrypy sweet that
the kids could only identify with his
villainous, grumpy, "Judas".
Since then, I learned to
look at commissioned art
with a new eye.

If it often seems so incredibly the Idaho National
inept that it undercuts it's Engineering Lab,
apparent goal... but that might a large billboard
not exactly be unintentional. promotes the message
"Security Keeps
America Safe!"
The illustration
shows a star-
spangled US
silhouette with
a heavy chain
stretched
tightly across
it, a lock dangling
in the middle...
"Security Keeps
America in Chains"?
