One of a number of misc technical
ideas that arose while going
through my notes on:

   SYSTEM_ERROR



   Any agency-- a site, a non-profit, a government body--
   could set it self up as an identity server.

   One service it could provide is a sort of
   universal directory system, an association of
   IDs on different platforms, so someone can use
   any "platform" and stay in touch with their
   previous contacts.

      The identity server could (among other things)
      provide an identity key that you could add to the
      user meta data at various sites, so different
      search strategies could find you again...
      presuming you wanted to be found.


   If a Twitter addict couldn't bring themselves to
   abandon the ego-boost of their thousands of
   "followers" and start again elsewhere, an
   easy path for the followers to follow might
   smooth the way to leave the damn place.
