Gaza all Hamas's fault?

Okay, so the Hamas attacks were terrible,
but *what were they supposed to do*?          No UN resolutions against
Take it up with the UN?                       Israel ever passed because
                                              of the US always vetoed them.
Gaza had been under blockade for a
solid decade at that point.

Would anyone in the world put up with this calmly?

Imagine this was done to a town in Texas.
Would you expect the Texans to embrace the
spirit of passive resistance for over a
decade and just live with it?
