The New York Times has for quite some time used a
mailing list to send out daily news summaries...
For a long time this was a very simple listing
of some headlines with a brief description.
I liked skimming through this, playing the
"I bet you can't make me click" game.

write-up of some important issues,

I worry that Leonhardt-- and the
Times in general-- may be
dangerous: just when you start
taking them seriously you get
some yellow cake in your face.
