                                                            TWITTING_FATE
   Whenever I try to follow what's going on when
   someone forwards somthing they found floating in
   the Xitter, it invariably seems nearly                 Thankfully,
   incomprehensible.  It takes ten minutes of             people seem
   thought to get why the message might seem funny        to be giving
   if I spent abother half-hour thinking about it.        up on passing
                                                          Xits around.
   There's a Xitter-brain effect that I suspect has
   been doing some subtle damage to us for decades          They're probably
   now.                                                     tired of us
                                                            benighted
   Some day we will wake up from this nightmare and         outsiders
   look back on these days and wonder why spending          accusing them of
   you're life in the Xitter made some people feel          being suckers.
   like they were elite, connected insiders.

   It's going to look pretty strange a few years
   hence, like the way we might look at hippies
   thinking they could save the world by building
   geodesic domes.
