   This is one of my standard
   self-deprecating comments
   about myself: "I always seem                         FRUITS_BASKET
   to be walking backwards

      I don't seem to have talked              THE_VOICE_OF_DOOM

         For me this has overtones and                    DANGER
         associations with many things...

         Richard Hell pointed out that
         the ancient Greeks spoke of             (And a woman who knew him
         walking backwards into the future.      too well accused him of
                                                 wishing his future was
                                                 behind him.)



                                          I might even contrive
                                          a connection to the
                                          thermodynamic arrow of time...

                                                      Though that's
                                                      a stretch.
